CompleNet 2020 has been postponed to a date TBD due to the COVID-19 global pandemic.
Through a grant from London Mathematical Society, we have a limited amount of funds to cover the registration for a small number of students working in Mathematics and related fields. These funds can be used registering to the event (as student participants or authors if you have an accepted work). The funds may also be used for accomodation for cases where the registration has already been paid for. Students wanting to apply for that should send the following information as 1 PDF to CompleNet20@biocomplexlab.org:
Accomodation costs will be reimbused after the event (if your request is approved). The reason for this is to ensure the person will actually attend the event. Reimbursements will not be paid for people who do not come to the event.
Types of registration and instructions
Authors who submitted an abstract that got accepted either as an Oral Presentation, Lightning Talk or Poster fall into the category one abstract accepted (category 1b in the registration system). Only the presenting author of each contribution should register under this category (£400 UK pounds). In order to guarantee your slot in the program, you must register by 15 January 2020. However, if you register by 20 December 2019 you will be able to use the discounted early price (£300 UK pounds). When registering for this category, please ensure you indicate your abstract number(s) in the field provided.
Authors who submitted a paper and got it accepted to be published in the proceedings fall into the category one paper accepted to be published (category 1a in the registration system), independently on the presentation format (Oral Presentation, Lightning Talk or Poster). One author per accepted paper should register under this category (£550 UK pounds). In order to have the paper included in the proceedings, the author must register by 20 December 2019. We apologise for the short time but it takes time to prepare the proceedings and we need the confirmation of your registration early. In exceptional cases we may allow a later registration, however, you need to contact the conference chair, Ronaldo Menezes at email@example.com. However the registrations after 20 December 2019 are £650. When registering for this category, please ensure you indicate your paper number(s) in the field provided.
Individuals interested in attending the conference without presenting a contribution fall under regular attendee (category 2a in the registration system). The standard rate is £400, or £300 if using the discounted rate available until December 20, 2019.
Students (undergraduates, MSc, PhD) can register at this rate (category 2b in the registration system). Please note that the student registration fee is not available for those students who are authors of either an abstract or a paper. Students will be required to show proof of being a student when checking in at the conference.
Extra abstracts and papers
Authors presenting more than one abstract or paper will need to add the extra abstracts and/or extra paper fees on their registration rates. Rates for this is shown below.
All registration fees are non-refundable.
